About Us
Who We Are
We The People
The St Andrews American Politics Association was founded in 2024 by a group of American International Relations students studying at the University of St Andrews. We noticed the lack of a society in St Andrews that focused solely on American Politics. With 2024 being an important election year, we decided to found our own society so that Americans overseas, as well as non-American students interested in American politics (not just IR students!), could have a space to discuss political developments back at home and stay up to date with the political events that transpire in the U.S. We are a non-partisan group who is committed to providing a forum for awareness, debate, and exchange of ideas surrounding the rapidly developing political landscape of the U.S.
